Decent little stool for the price. It is of lighter material but overall it was super easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy (no plastic).

I love this stool! The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it was, and how smooth the wood is. The description says it’s not stained but rather, burned, giving it a very beautiful natural appearance without any chemical smell. I was impressed! As able to easily put it together in just minutes with included screws and Allen wrench. It was such a relief to swap this out from my bulky white plastic stool. It’s so much more compact so I can leave it out permanently, and it’s definitely more stylish. I will caution not to stand on it - it is lightweight and only meant for propping up your feet!

I bought this to leave at work since I didn't want to spring for the real one. Assembly was fine, but the included hex was the wrong size. Also, the side pieces do have to face the same direction even though it's not mentioned, otherwise the middle support won't line up. The wood is also on the softer side, so don't over-tighten. Overall, it's fine. You sit down, put your feet up, and poop. It might not last forever, but it's good enough for the price point.

This stool feels like it’s made from balsa wood, it crunches when you grip it, a fingernail can scratch it. I varnished it in the hopes it’ll last a bit longer.

If like me, you've seen tbe commercial and thought, "hmm, that'll help" then look no further. I won't go into too much specific detail, but this is a nice, cheap little stool. It's lightweight, easy to move, and it does exactly what it's supposed to.Very easy to assemble. A couple screws and bam, done. Took me 5 mins.It is sturdy, and very stable. But DO NOT stand on it. It is not made for any significant weight bearing.Perfect size to just sit in front of your potty, or tucked away when not in use.It's not really versatile, it's made really to rest your feet up when trying to go number 2.It does what it's made to do.

I was nervous after reading the reviews on the assembly because I’m not that crafty but honestly it took me 5 minutes! I made sure to sit on the floor but a table top would make sure it’s balanced too. When you’re putting the top screws in it’s just important to keep in mind you want to fit all of the screws a bit then screw them in bits at a time. For example: place all four loosely, screw top right a few rounds, bottom right, top left, bottom left. I went around a few times to ensure balance as it all screwed into place and it worked just fine. Again, 5 minutes!The stool itself is VERY supportive. It does have a faint smoky smell but it’s actually one I love, cause who doesn’t like the nostalgia of campfires? You can only smell it if you put your nose to it so maybe don’t do that if you don’t like that smell?? lol. Love this stool, I bought two more. One for my mom and one for my kids. Definitely worth the great price!!

When we redid our guest bath, 11.5 years ago, we put in a chair height toilet. My knees were grateful, but I'm on the shorter side, so ordered an original Squatty Potty.It's been fine, but I found myself wanting something with a smaller profile and nicer appearance. Et voila!This fits the bill quite nicely. It is made of a lightweight wood, but feels quite sturdy. It came with rubberized feet to attach to the bottom, keeping it from sliding around. I'm not sure how well the finish will hold up to regular cleaning, but it can always be restained, if necessary. The fact that wood is naturally antimicrobial, is a bonus.
