Although both LTZ400 and KFX400 are listed as compatible models, this item is cheap garbage that DOES NOT FIT. The wire is far too long so if you want to put it on you have to shave away the wire sleeves, the rubber seal is too big and doesn't allow the side case to seal. The stator itself is larger then the original stator and then on top of all of that if you manage to get it to fit it doesn't even work. DO NOT BUY find a different option.

2003 ltz 400, Quality is terrible, rubber grommet for stator cover is way to big, you need to cut a huge chunk off just so it sits correctly (flush) you have to trim the wire cover like 3 inches to fit into spot, wires are junk barley fits in the right places, and after all that hassle the quad doesn’t even run now (no spark from magneto) and the stator doesn’t even charge. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I figured buy this kit because it was cheap but in the end it just screws you over, I’ve bought three from this company same result every time. Buy OEM or equivalent trust me.
