A better hinge on footboard and this rivals anything. Well made, easy to maintain. Nice feel.Very good pedal.

I am not super technical when it comes to drum gear, but I know good value when I see it. This pedal is sturdy, well-built, and seems to have all the adjustability most other pedals have. Was looking for something good under $100 and although I'd never heard of Stagg, the reviews I found were good. I had been playing a Pearl P-101 for over 20 years and I needed something for the practice space. Design-wise, there's nothing new, here. The geometry and footboard length are practically identical to my Pearl pedal, and so is the beater. I think there may be an even better value, however, in a similar pedal made by Griffin for $40, which I noticed just as I was writing this. Even without comparing them in person, the specs look the exact same as the Stagg. The main components may even be sourced from the same factory, although I can't for sure. Can't wait to test it out in a live ROCK SHOW situation!!!
