I am reducing the stars by one NOT because of the product, but because of AMAZON'S terrible shipping of a delicate, expensive art pencil. They arrived in a plastic bag with no bubble wrap around the pencils. Two of the 3 leads were broken which usually means the lead is often broken further up in the pencil to be discovered as you sharpen it during use. I will order my stabilo pencils elsewhere. This has happened before, but I thought I would try one more time.

I love these pencils which I have in black, so I thought Iād try the brown. I use them in my artwork and they are fine.
