The shifter includes a pre- inserted cable, which is helpful. The levers are a composite, whereas my prior, 3 year old nx shift lever was aluminum, or some type of light metal that was painted black. The package did not include an end cap to be crimped.

I upgraded an older mountain bike from 8 to 10 speed, and needed to replace the shifter. The diameter is a bit large, but it works well with my lizard skin grips. I did have to purchase a set of short grips to use with it, but it is working well. The cable was really long, and I am confident would work fore pretty much any bike. Shifting both up and down is really quick, and smooth, as well. I am very happy with the purchase.

arrivato in tempi ragionevoli.l'utilità è indubbia, molto molto funzionale e superiore al normale manettino SRAM GX che usa solo il pollice in maniera poco efficacie e scomoda (nemmeno lontanamente vicino ai manettini shimano) di contro però la manopola GripShift è probabilmente l'invnzione migliore dalla nascita della MTB, una rapidità della cambiata straordinaria.unico problemache si rompe subiltodopo poche uscite già non tiene piu gli scatti e rimane quasi libero senza scattini... SRAM mi sta scadendo sempre di piu purtroppo

Can't beat this thing for the price. I actually own, have owned, or used SRAM GX, X1, and X01 11 speed shifters. Yes, this one has more play and feels 'cheaper', but works and shifts flawlessly.

I replaced a SRAM X5 9-speed rear shifter with this unit. Packaging and delivery were fine and installation was a snap, especially since the cable was already assembled on the shifter!
