Real bummer that it was poorly manufactured - key component. Luckily it didn’t occur under hard breaking, loss of rear brakes could have been catastrophic!

I've never had to replace one of these in my 40 plus years of riding bike a ton. Well I had to and these worked excellent for my SRAM Apex 11speed shifter.

I have to replace these way too often i wish they made them from stainless steel ...it should be recalled by sram it isnt durable
