The Squatty Potty was recommended to me by my primary care physician after I had abdominal surgery for diverticulitis and wanted to minimize straining. Much to my surprise, it works like a charm! Very highly recommended for anyone that wants to minimize straining and time on the pot.

You can definitely rest your feet on it, but don't think about standing on it. I wish it could be tucked back further. Cost too much for what it is.
