Bought for a mountain trekking trip, had camelbacks with no issue before and trusted the brand. However, on first fill there was a strong continuous leak from filler cap. I had seen others mention this issue, but overall ratings were good, so I bought it. I wish I haddnt. Completely unfit for use.Some reviews have mentioned this can be fixed with tightening the lower cap plate, I did this to the point of breaking the material and it still leaked. Will be trying a fix with 60mm / 3mm Oring as others have suggested, but didnt have time to get them before my trip and had to take multiple 1l bottles in my pack instead which was not ideal. Very dissapointing purchase.

This bladder is the perfect size. It’s very durable. It has an extremely good price and it’s a trusted brand of great quality.I love the mouthpiece and the other piece, which allows you to easily add water from a water bottle.I’ve taken it on multiple hiking trips and I even take it to work and I’ve never had any problems.The only thing you need to be wary of is you need to clean the mouthpiece very often else it gets very “Skunky”

Je suis parti en trek de plusieurs jours avec mon sac a dos comprenant duvet, tente matelas et des habits pour deux semaines et bien évidemment ma poche à eau toute neuve de marque source (dont le modèle précédent m'avait apporté satisfaction pendant quelques années).Arrivé après des heures de marche sous la pluie à la frontale, j'ai eu la surprise de trouver mon duvet ainsi que tous mes habits détrempés. La nuit au mois d'octobre en pleine montagne fut pour le moins fraîche.Sans parler du livre que j'avais emmené (14 euros le bouquin, bon a jetter).J'ai tenté de mettre un élastique en guise de joint sur le bouchon mais ça n'a pas fonctionné, la poche fuyait toujours. J'ai manqué d'eau sur mon trek, heureusement que j'avais une gourde à filtre ce qui m'a permis de passer quelques jours.Je ne recommande pas le produit !

Product packaging arrived damaged. Did an inspection; amazingly there's no visible damage or any leaks. It has that plastic taste that some people was complaining about despite being "BPA-Free". However; the valve isn't, so I'm going to suspect that's the source of the plastic taste. That some people overlooked.I've had multiple water bladder brands in my possession and out of comparison. I must say; the Source water bladder is a solid choice. Best in the market in my opinion. We cannot be too picky with the taste my friends. Its all about the durability. I rather taste the plastic than having no water at all.

This product is amazing. I play airsoft and I had to get a good bladder i play sniper and a lot of times I'm on my stomach or back and this bladder holds up to everything. Packing ice in it is easy every part works perfectly and it's made out of strong material and is completely tasteless of plastic. Im very happy with my purchase and there has been absolutely no leakage what so ever around the lid or other parts of bladder 10 out 10

I had just gotten this bladder, prepared to take it onto my canoe trip to an isolated island. I needed something a little more durable than my cheap Walmart bladders and unfortunately, the source bladder appears to be the inferior product. Although I do like the "upgrades" for the bladder and it's lower profile design... None of it can be used as the bladder leaks around the cap and bezel. Going back on reviews, It appears to be a common problem. Even one customer who had a replacement cap sent to him still states it leaks. Another states their gear got completely wet after first use. I've attempted to tighten the cap as tight as possible as one person suggested... And even that did not work. The leak flows with ease between the cap and bezel.

Source ist tatsächlich innovativer als die Konkurrenz. Die Funktionalität sucht seinesgleichen, ob man den Aufsatz für das Nachfüllen per Flasche oder Schlauch wirklich nutz sei dahin gestellt, aber das es funktionieren könnte ist einfach stark.Reinigung ist supereinfach und die Verarbeitung hervorragend.

Construction is solid. There was a plastic taste initially, but after several uses and washes, seems to have gone away. Like the low profile, but it does become a little tear shaped. Nothing bad, but not as good as the pics on the box look. Overall, good product. I would recommend and purchase again, but probably won't need to.

The fact that this is made with an antibacterial plastic really got my attention. I also really liked the 3 different options on filling it, my favorite being the adaptor. The simple little doohickey allowed for filling from a tap *or* bottled water while the unit is in your backpack!The components easily detach for easy cleaning but as I said the antibacterial plastic makes this even easier to maintain.It's also pretty durable...Not that I've ever been dragged behind a truck while tracking the Ark of the Covenant or anything but I've got a hunch I could do so while quenching my thirst 😉

Works well and the bladder attached to my water filter's qd attachment. The inside is nice and easy to clean. I did have a leak while hiking, but that was due to an o-ring getting pushed out of the groove, I consider that to have been user fault. The mouthpiece isn't as convenient as a bite valve, but is good aside from the dribble after you close it off(guys knows what I'm talking about, eh lads?). I didn't notice any plastic flavoring added in the heat, tannin flavors did not remain without cleaning.
