This is the bedcover I wished to have bought and come home with from India but didn't as it was too heavy for my suitcase. It has a unique style and the colours are vibrant. Feels authentic and exotic unlike some designs available in this style. Very good value and just beautiful. I am so glad I bought this and will wash it in cold water. Highly recommended.

I washed it. Ugh! It had a horrible chemical odor out of the bag, which I've come to expect these days. So, after an initial inspection (more about that later) I decided to keep it and tossed it into a gentle cycle. THE DYE RUNS. Only then did I check the listing for the care instructions. 🤦♀️ Totally my bad. The good news is it did not shrink, fray, or otherwise discolor itself in either the wash or the low-temp dry cycle I decided to chance at this point. I now have two matching towels, tho. Yay?About that initial inspection: As others have noted it is not the same pattern or color I ordered. It is closer to another picture listed but still not an exact match to either. That was disappointing, but I still liked it. And there are quite a few threads left cut in the middle with no tie-off. It is for these two reasons only I gave 3 stars. But don't make the same mistake I did. I would not have purchased if I'd noticed it was Dry Clean Only, and if I'd known, I would have sent it back due to the harsh chemical odor. Dry cleaning would not have vanquished that smell. (Washing did, however).

This spread is a great weight for warmer weather. I use the king size on a queen bed so there is plenty of coverage for two people who frequently toss and turn. I love it.

Based on all the great reviews and comments that the quilt people received was as shown in the picture, I expected to receive the same thing that was displayed in the photo. However, although it is dark green with small details in dark red, the fabric is quite different (not the same style and aesthetic feel) and the white stitching lines are far more prominent, which I did not want. The quilt in the photo had a lot of yellow, which was important for me, and the one I received has none. It’s not the look I was going for. Also, in several places the threads are cut off in the middle of the quilt and I’m sure that before long it would start coming apart. And they cut stitches show a lot because of the contrast between the dark green fabric and white thread. They should at least tie the ends off on the back of the quilt! I wouldn’t complain if they had done that but as is, it’s as though they basted the fabrics together temporarily, rather than sewing them. I’m really disappointed in this quilt and will probably return it. It’s false advertising to display something in the listing and send something quite different. If they can’t send a quilt as shown, they should be honest and say that the fabric will not be as shown. On the plus side, the fabric feels good, I like the weight, there was no bad odour, and the quilt feels clean.
