It’s not hard sewing the June Taylor things that is why I purchase them for easy projects-however this project instructions were not as detailed as needed to be. After starting and then watching a help videoed it was obvious that some steps were left out. Experienced in all things sewing.

This is a very easy fun project. The only part that I found confusing were the instructions for covering the strapping with fabric. But I was able to just improvise and do it my own way. Don't put your favourite fabrics in the first few squares, as they will be on the very bottom of the caddy, and not visible. If I make this again, I will remember to use other fabric in those spots.

I have now made six of these, often in sports fabrics appropriate to the recipient. It is a great "stash buster" because they are easily made with a few 21/2" strips. I always include a 9x13" baking pan for a complete gift. Fabulous for any occasion gift.

I love all of the June Taylor quilt-as-you-go products, but the casserole carrier is my favorite. It is easy to sew and makes a perfect way to transport a casserole dish. I use it a lot for church lunches. The batting keeps the casserole nice and hot for a couple of hours. I also use it to transport a cold cheese plate.

Casserole carrier was easy to make and turned out great. Made it as a gift and plan on making another. Good way to use up my quilt stash.
