This definitely filled my needs for my old rocker with two wooden wheels from sliding around on the hardwood floor. I was a little disappointed because they are hard plastic and slide themselves on the wood not rubbery to stick. The perfect size and that they are clear still works for me.

Soft Touch:Not soft but very hard plastic. I wasn't expecting these to be soft and pliable, but I did expect the edges that make contact with the floor, to be 'soft touch'.I have tough, shiny fake wood laminate, so I'm not worried about damage, but if I had qood quality wood flooring, I would be concerned.Sizing:Very accurate internal measurement. Fitted my Ikea metal legs like a glove. My sofa legs had lost some of the rubber floor protectors, and these cups have brought the sofa legs to the same height. Worked perfectly for me.Floor sliding:as mentioned, I have laminate flooring which has created a very close contact between the two surfaces, resulting in no sliding. May be different on real wood with a more textures surface.Durability:I see no reason for them to not last well, as they fit perfectly. As the plastic is so hard, I guess, the only thing that could happen is that they crack under extended pressure.We'll see.

The sharp edges and hard plastic material end up damaging wood floors just as much as not having them in the first place. I ended up having to apply additional spongy grip tape on the bottoms.

These caster cups are meant to protect hardwood floors, yet they are made of rigid plastic + poorly constructed, or rather manufactured with poor quality control. Mine arrived with sharp, pointy edges along the circular ridge which would have certainly scratched my hardwood floors had I not taken notice. I had to manually file these caster cups down + cut felt to stick on the underside just to be able to use them as intended. You get what you pay for, I suppose, is the lesson here. I would advise against purchasing these unless you have the time/energy or mental wherewithal to modify them first.

I’m using these under an antique sewing table that has tiny metal wheels that scratch my tile. I’m pleased with the appearance of these caster cups. I wish they would slide a little bit to make it way to move the table, but I can always add a felt pad.They seem to be well made and will work for a long time to come.

As described. Perfect size for the wheels on antique furniture. Doesn’t scratch my floor when moving furniture although I am careful because they are plastic.

Not as thick as I would have liked, but they do the job. Unfortunately the diameter size is small so you will still have deep indentations in your carpet. They do work nicely on hardwood though.
