I just don’t use the stove when hiking or backpacking. I work outside and I’ve been using this stove two or three times a day for a year now to make my tea and heat up my lunch. It’s built like a tank. After using it hundreds of times there are no loose or broken parts. If it broke or I lost it I would buy another. It works flawlessly. The company also has excellent customer service. When I first got the stove I accidentally burnt the rubber cap that covers the orifice. That was my own fault. The company sent me another for free and also picked up the shipping cost.

I was looking for a compact yet capable stove that was a step up from the usual canister stoves. The Snow Peak Bipod Stove is ideal for my purposes and performed even better than advertised.Excellent stove and value.

I own 4 or 5 little butane stoves but they are only big enough to heat up one of those little stainless steel/titanium pots. This one can support a 10 inch stainless frying pan with a heat diffuser so I can cook anything I want after the two savages that I go camping with fall asleep. It can also use the small, medium, and large size butane cans. The Tripod design is so much easier than trying to balence the other ones that there is no comparison. It may cost a bit more but this is well worth it in my opinion.

Great stove. Awesome design and build quality but it is Snow peak so we all know that. What I imagined and then experienced is how incredibly stable the stove is. The three point design accepts heavy pans (think cast iron) on less than level terrain. BTUs are overrated when the pan tips over. This is a great stove that packs small for it’s capabilities

I like the way the legs folded out to provide wonderful support along with the fuel canister. The workmanship for this product is top-notch and overall it’s very well designed. The BTU output for this stove exceeds many other stoves of similar size. The actual stove (not fuel canister) folds into a very compact size and fits nicely in a bag.

Great little stove! The igniter could work better or it would get five stars. Bring another lighter or matches>

This is really a great product. The design makes it very stable even when holding bigger pots. I've tried 10 inch pan on it and it worked great. Very compact, light weight and comes with a storage stash bag. Although I'm doing car camping, I'm the only one who needs to use the stove in the morning for eggs or coffee from time to time. I used to carry a Coleman two burner stove just for that. Now I have a better option and can save more space for my kids' sand toys. I'm very happy. Hope it will last long.

-stable, can hold a nice sized pan-not too heavy and not too large, easy to have as the "cut-above" stove on any backpacking trip-some guy complained you Can't invert the canister. That is TOTALY WRONG, you can invert the canister and just put a rock or some item of wood under it to get maximum use out of a canister.Bottom line, if you want to have stove that is more stable for a little bit more weight this thing is an ace. I've personally almost dumped food & water with it only resting on a canister stove itself, they get top heavy & tippy. I like the added stability and the wider area to place a pan. Winner product! Also solid if you want it for mini-meal in a more urban setting.
