Inexpensive, but poor quality. Why even bother manufacturing something like this? Uneven flame. Wouldn't rely on this when for about $20, one can get a good quality, stable design like Odoland 3500W.

I have no dislikes for this little stove! Reliable and effective. I bought a similar model, different brand, from a Walmart on one trip that I forgot to pack it. Otherwise it does on every motorcycle trip with me.

It worked flawlessly on a three day backpack trip. Easy to regulate flame intensity and very compact design. Definitely worth it.

Are you one of those who watches Alone and Naked and Afraid and now you want to go out there and test your skills in the wild, but not live too in the wild, because let’s face it, your shopping for a stove to cook your next meal on. Have you recently taken up backpacking and need a super light and functional stove to make your morning coffee while breathing the fresh crisp clean air in nature? Do you need something easy and reliable that will work with a multitude of pans and canisters? Are you wanting to keep it simple and stuff this tiny little stove into your pack so you have room for more important things you really don’t need out there on the trail? Are you a seasoned outdoorsman and decided the more expensive sets are too cumbersome? Well this is the stove you want to pick. Small, super light, compact, fits in my coffee mug and starts every time. Love this and would buy again.

Tiny, lightweight, easy to use. Heats water very quickly. Small diameter of cookware support area makes use with even small pans a bit of a challenge, thus the 4-star rating.

Got this stove to try and extend my dollar while bicycle touring. It packs up nice (space is at a premium on tour). Once out of box, stove unfolded very nicely several times (put it through paces for this review). Attached easily to the canister of gas and disengaged as well later after cooking. Feet for pot fairly even and provided a level-ish cooking platform (table I was on might have been the problem. Worked on several places I tried it). Lighter worked without trouble, but that may change over time. Regulator worked well for heat adjustment from low to high. I did have to use manipulation (moving the pot around) to keep from scorching food. To the cooking:3 mealsChickpea and vegetable scrambleChiliquilesBeef Flavored Couscous with vegatablesand you thought I was just going to boil some water...All of this done on Boy Scout style mess kit.1. Browned chickpeas with spices and oil (little bit of taco seasoning, but use whatever). Had to lift the pan even on the lowest setting to keep from burning. I have since found out that a diffuser will make this process easier. After chickpeas browned, added vegetables to simmer and let the water from them soften the chickpeas a bit. Next, take away from heat and add scrambled eggs while pan still hot.2. ChiliquilesThis is a fairly easy one. Add some chopped onion and canned green peppers to pan to brown (or garlic, or whatever). Then add in one small can of red Enchilada sauce, and bring to simmer. Next take a small bag of Doritos (or other tortilla chips, or even corn chips) and add to sauce. The chips absorb the sauce. Then add an egg in your favorite manor (supposed to be able to poach in sauce, but that is a stretch for this stove. Maybe with diffuser?)3.Beef flavored Couscous with vegetables.Brown vegetables in pan and add to small pot. Add torn up beef jerky. Add water amount specified by Couscous directions and ring to boil. When boiling remove from heat add Couscous, cover and wait 5 mins. Fluff with fork (IDK they always say that in directions). These recipes came out well. I look forward to having the diffuser to be able to simmer things easier instead of having to constantly lift and lower pan from heat. Stove did not scorch my pans. little water and heat and they cleaned right up. Stove cooled quickly so you can pack up soon after eating. So far good little stove.

This is not a $100 stove with all the bells and whistles. This is a super small compact stove that is super inexpensive. It performs as it should simple to attach, had a little trouble getting it to light so moved the ignition needle closer to the gas inlet and had ignition. I didn't have high exceptions but it definitely is useful especially if you are doing a day hike and want some hot oatmeal or tea or whatever. The legs that unfold are not super long so make sure you do your best to level the spot where you will be placing the canister and stove. Not a bad idea to use a wind break, I used the one from my old stove. For the price and for the weight it is an awesome buy. Just remember not to compare it to your Cadillac stove like I started too.

I got this just to try and see how good it was. It performed excellently, small yet powerful. 2 cups of water in stainless jug in roughly 3 1/4 minutes. I found that the pot supports, although they were a very neat design were for me a little on the smaller side for a reasonably size pot, but it still achieved a satisfactory result.Perfect for back-packers on a long trip being small and of light weight.I would recommend this item.

It looks exactly like the old generic that has been store branded by the dozens. It's a bit more rough than the store-brands, though. For example, it's identical to the Sterno stove....but where the Sterno stove is perfect from the box, this one is like a bit of a knockoff. The pot stand arms don't quite lock in the deployed around position. The tiny steel tab is a hair too short. The lock tab isn't necessary anyway, though. Replace it if you want or don't. Won't matter either way. The pot stand arms aren't quite straight....but bending is easy. Not quite level, but adjusting is easy. The jet head itself is a bit off perfect, but works perfectly. It seals tight to a can, adjusts exactly flamewise, cooks fast. No real complaints. Worth buying two for the various packs you know you have!
