I snagged this kit to give me options for recording myself and friends while snowboarding. Right off the bat, I need to point out that you get the whole kit and caboodle. A selfie stick that extends to become absurdly long, an extension if for some reason you want it to be larger, a helmet mount, and more. I found myself switching off and on whether I used the helmet or the selfie stick at nearly the minimum extended length. Never did I once have an issue where I was afraid my GoPro was going to fall off. The build quality is fairly top notch and the versatility just can't be beat. The only small complaint I have is that I wish the locking solution for the extendable selfie stick was a bit better. Having to twist all the separate segments to lock a certain length in place is awkward and cumbersome.

I did not mount this on my helmet but used it as a hand-held mount for my Insta360 X4. The parts all function as expected and seem well-made.This really is a nice complete kit with everything you need to get out with your action camera recording your adventures.

I got this mainly for the unicorn mount, as I have a good amount of selfie sticks already. For that, I am definitely satisfied. It's a simple setup but it works well. I knocked a point off though for the twist-to-lock selfie stick. There are much better cheap sticks out there, in that you can just pull them to whatever length you want and it will stay there (like the original insta360 stick or any of the clones out there), so I don't think it's worth the added cost here personally.

Got this for my GoPro Max 360. The pole is well made. I fall and dropped multiple times while skiing, only a few small scratches left on it.

The selfie stick is aluminum and locks by rotating it. It is very sturdy and without any play when shaking it. It is somewhat heavier than a carbon fiber stick, but it is also stiffer, sturdier, and more damage proof. If you are looking for a sports selfie stick, this one should do it. The helmet mount can probably go on any helmet with a smooth, large enough, and flat enough surface.

Everything it comes with is solid, the pole was a little hard to unscrew after it was connected, had to use pliers and scuffed it up, but it works well and is rigid enough.
