Even though they are wool your feet do not get uncomfortably warm until outside temp is over 100 degrees F.The elasticity help with vienous return and deters edema from long hours on the trail. These socks are a little pricey but so worth it. I have been wearing these socks with my Keenes for over 20 years. My feet were badly injured and these socks are the only ones that remain comfortable for me.

Love the thickness and weight of the wool used in these socks.They are thin enough to wear everyday, with added cushion/comfort in the sole.Great quality. I typically wear a size 8.5 and got a medium.

This is my second pair. I was gifted a pair by a coworker since I like to go hiking. They're very comfortable. I also use them when I wear my Doc Martens. They fit nicely and make my boots even more comfortable.
