Many people find that a wrist cuff is easier to apply and more comfortable than a traditional arm cuff. Home monitoring is important to help identify changes in your blood pressure. To achieve the maximum benefits from your monitor and for interpretation of your blood pressure results, consult your healthcare professional.

This was to replace a very similar unit my wife uses (the Velcro is wearing out on the old unit) , almost every time she used it she got an error code 1, it's not like she never used one before, tried to return it online but I guess Amazon doen;t allow it. Bought her a new one at Walmart. I'll be careful what I buy at Amazon now.

I am a physician and have had multiple wrist bp monitors. This one was defective. I tried multiple times, days, etc. to return. Waste of my time. I did troubleshooting, etc. It does not work. They would not give me opportunity to return. Kept stonewalling me and wasting my time. Would not recommend dealing with this company if this is the way they treat customers.

I have this brand in the battery version and love it. Batteries wear out relatively quickly so thought I would get the rechargeable version. Mine would not charge. Tried to replace it but was only offered a refund so went that route. I found it at a lower price so all in all, it turned out to be a good thing. The one I have now works great. I would recommend it as electronics can be iffy and mine was probably a rarity.

It has an extremely narrow margin of error in tightening the band. If your even slightly off, you get an error. if you get one valid reading out of three or four tries you're doing well. I had to return it to Smartheart because it wasn't under an Amazon refund policy. They sent me another after a lengthy phone conversation about how to get the exactly correct strap pressure, Same thing, same errors. This is junk.
