Our Airtaxi RV vent fan, WG883 series, features a precision-engineered 7-blade design and undergoes rigorous dynamic balance testing before factory shipment, ensuring minimal aerodynamic noise. Additionally, the fan is equipped with the latest brushless motor technology, which is more durable, faster, and significantly quieter than traditional brushed motors. Testing confirms that on the first speed setting, the fan operates at approximately 25dB—a noise level fully aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendation of ≤30 dB for sleep environments. The WG883 series thus meets the highest standards for silent RV ventilation.
Does the vent fan work in rainy condition？
All the vent fans in the WG883 series are equipped with rain sensors. When the rain - sensing chip comes into contact with water, the upper cover of the roof vent fan will automatically close to prevent any unnecessary damage to your RV.
Of course, if you find it stuffy during rainy days and the rain is not particularly heavy, you can still use the Rainy Mode of the vent fan. This mode allows you to force the upper cover to open. You can also freely control the opening angle of the upper cover (ranging from 0 to 45°) according to actual needs to prevent excessive rainwater from splashing into the RV.
Is the roof vent fan easy to clean?
The WG883 series of RV roof vent fans are equipped with a highly user - friendly detachable protective mesh. You can simply give it a gentle twist to remove the mesh, allowing for easy cleaning and routine maintenance of the vent fan's blades.
Is its installation difficult?

I recently purchased this Vent fan for my trailer and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Installation was a breeze for me, but if you're unsure, I recommend checking out some helpful videos on Youtube to avoid any mishaps. The overall performance of the fan is outstanding. The first and second speeds are super quiet, creating a peaceful environment. When you kick it up to the third and fourth speeds, the airflow is powerful and refreshing. Plus, the brushless motor is not only durable but also energy-efficient, a win-win in my book. For the price point, you really can't beat the value this vent fan provides, highly recommend!

The garnish is not high enough to cover the gap between the ceiling and the roof. Fortunately the existing garnish fit. When you order you need to check the thickness of the gap between ceiling and roof. The supplied garnish is for a 2x4gap.

I recently purchased this vent fan and I must say I am extremely impressed with it. The fan's airflow is very powerful, yet surprisingly quiet on the first and second speed settings - you can barely hear any noise. I got this to put over my bed in my skoolie to prevent me from dying and it worked. My ceiling is not done yet, so it’s not insulated in the least. In the summer it was reaching about 6 or 7 billion degrees with just the slightest touch of sunshine. My roof ac drains the batteries in about 2 minutes so that’s out when there’s no shore power. Sleeping past 6am was near impossible when on the road, and I go to bed around that time so I needed to change that. This installed easily, works great, moves a lot of air, and is a nice white noise without being too loud. It spent a summer season getting tons of use and it cooled the inside of my bus enough that I don’t think I even bothered to turn on my roof ac unit once this year. I had my bus in 95 degrees and I was able to stay sleeping. I can operate it via remote while driving. It can either exhaust smoke out or fresh air in. The rain sensor kicks in and saves me from getting wet when I forget to close it. Highly recommend this.

This fan is awesome and exactly what I wanted. The fan is extremely powerful and is able to move a massive amount of air. On the lower two speed settings the fan is very quiet and hardly noticeable to the ear. All of the other operations are excellent and the remote is a bonus. I bought this fan for my RV bathroom, but I'll be buying another for the main cabin soon.
