Pierce of junk. The first time I cranked it open it worked fine. Fan was quiet enough and worked. Second time I operated the crank the crank assembly exploded and now it won't open even to get to the crank assembly. There is zero customer support...but the website says that it is coming soon...not holding my breath.

Utilicé este producto para ventilar e iluminar espacios sin ventanas, sin embargo no he podido encender el ventilador por que no tengo el modelo de transformador o balastro que sebe utilizarse puesto que en México se conecta a 110 V y este mecanismo funciona a 12 V.

No hardware, no template, no installation instructions.the tape wasn't very thick, not sure if it will seal well.Very cheap crank mechanism, noisy, jerky.Top shroud cover is very cheap plastic, doesn't seem to to seal well when closed, as the hardware makes it wobble. I'll be surprised if I get a year out of it before the cover weathers and falls apart. Wouldn't recommend this particular item.

As a single lady I was worried I'd find this hard to replace. Not at all! Shipped fast, easy install and super happy. I have a 2006 Springdale and was worried things would be very different. Thankfully I had it in and working in 35 minutes. Think taking old one out took most of the time. I did use the old casing for the inside so it all matched. Was just in time for the rain and no leaks. The fan is a little loud and the crank is not highest quality. Yet I wasn't expecting it to be for the price. It fixed the problem I faced and should be just fine for my needs. The fact it held out the rain that came I'd say it's perfect.If you want super thick high quality then spend the money for that. However this one is great and works as it should
