We bought this for our 3 year old son. He plays it frequently - usually turning it all the way up. It works well. Not too many stations on Shortwave however. The sound quality is still good despite him blasting music.

I love the vintage design and compact size. It has a lot of features for connectivity. The AM/FM works great and the speaker sounds good. Had a good rechargeable battery included and the capability to use D batteries. It's the perfect radio to have for emergencies when the power is out.

Itβs a cute radio but the dial is a little off. My 93.9 station comes in on more like 100. It does pick up well though (once you find it) and I just use it in the morning when getting ready for work. Also did have to get another cord, it came with one but couldnβt find a block or anything itβs fit.

I Really & Truly Can't believe I'm able to say this but, this Beautiful Looking and Multi-Functional "tiny" little radio is probably one of the best investments I made for $24.00. I live in a Chicago suburb where reception is Not the best. And, I have NEVER been able to get my Favorite station (90.9 FM) in my house before on ANY other radio until I received this one! This Little radio's reception is Absolutely Excellent Period!!! It also pulls in AM and short-wave stations as well without ANY problem. Do keep in mind that your results may vary depending on where you live, environment and signal strength. But, I'm Actually receiving channels that I was Only able to get while driving in my car. This is no longer a problem for me now! This radio can work using AC or DC by either plugging it into a wall outlet or using the supplied rechargeable battery. You can also use 2 D batteries (As a "back-up") if you choose. In addition to having Bluetooth, it can also read and play a USB or SD card as well. The radio takes about an hour and a half to charge the rechargeable battery. And once fully charged plays for approximately 4 to 5 hours. I Am Truly Very Happy that I took a chance and made this purchase! I even bought Another 2 to give to my friends. That's just how happy I am that I Discovered this Remarkably Well-Built & Designed Little Radio!

Peanut butter and kiwi for scale.I love this radio, I was looking for an analog radio that would fit on the windowsill and took batteries, not just had a non-remove able rechargeable one and it's a perfect fit.The sound is surprisingly good for the price, it's got a rechargeable removable battery (that kind that's in vapes) and also takes disposable. I actually just keep it plugged in via the USB charger since it's near an outlet. It also has Bluetooth and can act as a wireless speaker. I don't have a second but the box says you can also connect a second one at the same time for sort of surround sound.A couple minor issues - the adhesive holding the plastic piece that has all the numbers and stuff is pretty weak so it fell off shortly after I got it but I just had to press it firmly and it's stayed since then. The other issue is that the numbers don't exactly match the dial, they're slightly shifted. Not a big deal once you get used to it and we mostly keep it on one channel anyway.It does feel like a cheap, made in China radio, because that's what's it is, but I knew that when I bought and was pleasantly surprised with how great its been. I don't think it would survive a drop on our tile floor but it lives safe up on the windowsill so it's perfect for us.
