I used the product with my old camper to provide a nostalgic feel to the radio. I have really enjoyed the product, and it looks amazing. The Bluetooth feature to an old fashioned radio is an amazing modern touch. The size is perfect to transport it or use it on an old truck as you ride around. The options to charge or use batteries is also very helpful as you have the option of doing one or the other. The battery life is pretty decent and it lasts several hours on a single charge. Setup was pretty simple too, and changing between different modes was not a hassle at all. The customer service team is excellent as well, which is rare to see with some products sold on amazon. They were able to help me with the radio when I had issues with it as well.

My husband would rather listen to radio than television, and he’s got one in almost every room. This one works well and has great reception, plus he thinks it looks cool. It pushes all the right buttons. He can take it around, the sound quality is good and it costs pennies to use

The unit has amazing sound quality and good volume. However, when the unit arrived in the mail the FM, AM, and SW options did not work for the first several minutes that the unit was powered on. They did start to work eventually and I chopped it up to some issue with the batteries or the parts. But, within a couple of weeks the FM, AM and SW options stopped working again. No static, just nothing. The Bluetooth still works fine, plugged in and unplugged, so I know it is not a power issue. I contacted the company asking for help but after we got past the most basic checks (is it plugged in, are lithium batteries in, etc) the customer service rep said they would check with an engineer and off a refund if they could not come up with anything. I did not want a refund and was hoping for a simple fix, but ended up with neither of those as I have not heard from the company in three weeks.That said, I guess it is a great and nice looking Bluetooth speaker but that is not what I paid for.Edit: the company did get in contact and send a replacement. I have had the new one for a couple of months and everything works fine. Same sound quality.

Unlike other radios, this one has good sound, and can be used in my garage. Others just picked up a lot of static noise.Pleased with this product.

I bought this as a back-up radio and to use on my night stand. It still can fulfill those functions but it hasn't gotten out of my living room. I have a built in stereo system which is excellent goes through out my home and outside too. I turned this radio on to test it out after unpacking, and it hasn't moved since. The sound is so rich and so warm! I am an admitted audiophile, and I love high tech stuff. This is not even digital tuning and the case is plastic. It has a soft warm light that comes on when the radio is on. We lost power for a little while and the back up battery function worked for the couple of hours we were out. I haven't tried putting regular D batteries in yet. Reception is amazingly good. I am an NPR devote' and can't always get the greatest reception with even digital battery operated radios here. This radio did well getting NPR. I live in Maine and it's cold winter here. The sound and the light of the radio and a good cup of a hot beverage contribute to a cozy feel! Geez, I sure hope this radio lasts! I love it.

Sounds nice for the price range. The cabinet is made of resin with faux wood grain. Very 1970s/80s. Solid and sturdy. Nice bass range. The entire unit is well made plastic resin. The retro look for $60.00 bucks. The sound is loud and steady when turned up. I am almost 60 years old. This type of radio was common place in 1960s. We listened to a lot of radio in those days. I still do. I have a ball game on the radio now. Good and clear. Very John Kennedy/Lyndon Johnson era. This is a great affordable radio for retro lovers. Mine will stay plugged in on a table. For those who like mobility, it has built batteries for charging, or you can use 2 D batteries if you prefer. I hope it lasts! Grundig it is not, but ok at this price point. We shall see.
