This is a superior way to clean the glass in your tank hands free at anytime.I have tried others but the magnet not strong enough.This one is strong and stays together and allows you to scrub. So much better than your arm in tank scrubbing with algae pads and paper towelsThose days are gone.

I really think this one is one of the better ones I've tried yet but one thing bothers me. I'm not sure if it was supposed to come with the felt pad or not, but mine didn't. And even though I did not have to pay for it, that seems disappointing if someone has to pay the full price for just a fancy magnet and a scrapper without the thing that will actually clean the glass. The quality is good otherwise and works well but I do not think I would pay that price when it doesn't even come with the felt pad.

This aquarium scraper is the best that ive owned. It is heavy duty, and the magnet is very strong. It allows my amphibians to feel safe while I clean their glass. This magnetic scraper makes cleaning my tank glass much easier. The blade is sharp enough to handle general algae buildup, and the floating design means I don’t have to fish it out if it detaches. I probably should have gone with the medium size rather than the large. I wanted the large surface area to make cleaning my 55gal quicker, but I hadn't counted on just how strong the magnets on this are. It takes some effort to move it around. I felt the need to keep a hand on the tank because I could feel the tank being pushed around a little bit when I was going back and forth. I've had one of the original small sized ones for near 20 years. I wasn't expecting how tough it would be to move it around on the glass. I doubt I can do the back of the tank with it because it's just too difficult to move about compared to the others I've tried. That said...it did a better job than the hand scraper I use or any of the other magnetic scrapers I've tried. I had the front and sides of the tank cleaned up in basically no time.
