The cleaning brush stays free of sand or gravel, preventing scratching and the strong attracting magnets easily remove algae.

The magnet was amazingly strong and cut right through my brown algae on my freshwater tank. It took what was a wet and 20 minute chore and turned it into a dry 5 minute fun thing to do. Well worth the money. I didn't know thatThe magnet cleaner came with a blade and I ordered the blades with it. No worries, I'll have extra blades when they go bad.

I would almost say the magnets are too strong. I am nervous when I use it because it's hard to pull across the glass of the aquarium, and when I need to turn the corner, it's difficult to get the magnets apart and if I'm not really, really careful, they snap back together HARD. I am afraid they will break the glass. The scraper works great, in fact better than the scrubber. But this thing is a monster and difficult to use.

We have a HUGE fish tank... have had many over many years... and these MagFloat things are really the only ones of these types of scrapers that work. Dang are they pricey though. I guess on the upside, they don't need replacing often. I mean you do get what you pay for - works great, lasts a long while.

This works great on our 120 gallon aquarium to clean the glass. Magnet is strong enough for the thicker glass and still moves along smoothly. It's especially nice that it floats. Although this one is on the more expensive side, quality is great and well worth it. Highly recommend.

Got this as my previous one was 12 years old. It is definitely made with the same quality as my original one. It also included the metal scraper to attach and, as long as I'm careful, that has revolutionized glass cleaning! It easily cleaned off the chunks of coraline algea that appear over time. I heard it bends easily, and I think the key is to attack tough spots with care. Now that I just have algea growing, it makes cleaning a breeze and I can whip through it in a couple minutes. It just peels away whatever is on the glass.

I just recently purchased the Mag Float 350 Glass for my 72 Gallon Bow Front Show Aquarium which gets algae on the viewing panel of glass once in a while. This magnet makes cleaning algae simple and easy. This magnet does not have a string to get it back or anything else to help it. This DOES NOT scratch or do anything to your glass except cleaning. I had owned a smaller version of this for my 20 gallon tank, and needed a more powerful magnet for the thicker glass on the 72 gallon tank. These never need replacing and are nearly impossible to break or damage in any way. The only drawback is that eventually(after 1+ year of use) you have to replace the external magnet soft cloth pad, as it eventually wears away and starts to make lines on your glass(doesn't scratch). This is not a big deal as a replacement pad only costs only $4. No matter how much unsightly algae you have in your tank, this will remove it all. This doesn't harm your fish/plants/inverts, and doesn't make a mess as your hands don't get wet.In the end, this is a great product that is efficient, durable, amazing, and fun to use!!!5 Stars!
