The Good:-Good protection-Good fit for 9/10 year old-Doesn't look bulkyThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:My kid plays travel baseball and a lot of the kids have this sliding mitt. It is protective and looks good. It doesn't look too bulky. The fit works well for 9/10 year for sure. Overall, I would recommend this sliding mitt for its protection and style.

My son is an offensive lineman for his school team. He broke 2 fingers a week apart during the season. The ortho doc wanted him to play in a club but his team had no trainer to tape him before games and practices. This was our solution. It was perfect. The doc was happy. Coach was happy. Mom was happy and the kid didn’t hate it. This processed protection with playability perfectly.

My daughter plays travel ball and always steals bases sliding head first, was really worried about her hand getting stepped on by metal cleats or jamming her fingers, I got her this sliding mitt and it was a great investment. It fits really well and it protects her hand really well!! Feel much better watching steal those bases!!!

Bought this product for myself since I tend to slide a good amount during my baseball games. Gave this product a shot last night and absolutely loved it! Fit really well (true to size), made with solid quality so it will hold up, and didn't have any doubt in my mind it wouldn't keep my hand safe from being stepped on while sliding into one of the bases. Highly recommend if you or your son/daughter plays baseball/softball and want to avoid a potential injury when sliding to base.
