The handle that allows your to raise and lower the rack locked up after a few uses. I use a small bed of coals when I grill Santa Maria style so I know it wasn't a flame that damaged the handle. Definitely needs an update to the design.

I use it on my fire pit, well made, great price. Rotisserie basket and forks work great. Can’t beat it for pricing

I just used it to cook chicken leg quarters as a trial it works great. Assembly was straightforward and I will try the rotisserie in a while.

Works amazing. Although the cable sticks a little. But the Santa Maria style flavor on my steaks is worth it.

For anyone trying to decide to buy please read. After reading some of the reviews that complained of the grate bracket not coming down without assisting it. I bought it anyway. Assembly was so easy and self explanatory really didn't need instructions. In fact I never looked at them. The cables seemed to be preset as I didn't need to adjust them. Now let's get into the adjustment part, as the reviews stated my grate bracket also didn't come down with out helping it and was binding pretty bad. Put the grill grate in it and that didn't help. It was then I saw the problem, there was about a 1/4 inch or so gap between the grate and the grate bracket on the crank side of the post. The grate bracket was out of round. This caused the bottom of the guide channel to rub against the post binding it. To fix it I took the grate out layed the frame on its side, grabbed the grate bracket on each side of guide channel and pushed it toward the floor a little at a time until I closed the gap up. Put the grate back saw that I had equal spacing between the grate and grate bracket now it is back to round. Now it works perfectly goes up and down smooth no problem. After doing that I adjusted the legs of the C channel to be closer to the post that took out a lot of rocking of the grate bracket. So I'm very happy with now can't wait to use it. Gave 4 stars because I had to do extra work to make it work.

UPDATE: SkyFlame customer service contacted me without me asking for help. It was because of the review. But still, that was excellent that they reached out to me. They offered help on how to fix my problem. I haven't gotten around to trying that yet but it was sound advice. I appreciate their attentiveness. I'm glad I bought this grill attachment from them. Good customer service isn't always easy to find but this company was on the ball. If they make anything else I need, I will buy from them again.I just got this today. I assembled it. I have not used it yet because it's too late in the evening. For the most part everything looks good after it has been assembled. The "Assembly Instructions" that come with the grill says "Assembly Instructions" at the top of the page but then proceeds to give you warnings about burning yourself. Then there is the sentence, "This is a Great Product", just in case you were wondering. After that there is a description of how great the features are.On the other side of the page is an image of how this should look like when it is assembled. There is a parts list and the rest of the information is a repeat of the English "instructions" in French. If you're not mechanically mind find someone who is to put this together for you. If you are mechanically minded you shouldn't have any problems figuring it out on your ownOne heads up, there are 4 screws that hold the square tubing -- where the rotisserie and crank are attached -- to the base. Those screws are not in a bag, they are screwed into the bottom of the square tubing. The big problem I have is that the grate will crank up but it will not come down unless you push it. It fits too tight to the square tubing. It is not supposed to have permeant contact with the square tubing. There are brackets that keep it aligned with the tubing but they are guides and are not supposed to rub against the tubing with any kid of force. Perhaps if what you are BBQing on the grate is heavy enough it will push the grate down if you need to lower it. If not just make sure you have on heat resistant gloves so you can push it down. And that is my biggest complaint so far.I still would recommend this product.Perhaps you wouldn't have this problem with yours. After all, this is made in China and quality standards are not as high in China as they are in the US. I think I can bend things around so that it will raise and lower without any problems, I just need to spend some time working on it.Anyway, if you buy one and it all works out for you, then enjoy. Happy BBQing.
