Still being popular nowadays, rotisserie cooking is even accessible in your backyard with Royal Gourmet Universal Rotisserie Spit Kit. Available in two length options, the spit rods can fit your firebox width of up to 36 or 50 inches, with two or three being together. Two 4-prong forks secure your food firmly in place. The stainless steel material is durable, hard-wearing and easy to clean up. Powered by 4-watt electric motor, or you may prefer 2 D batteries (1.5 V), it ensures a consistent rotation for even cooking of roasts up to 13 lb (6 kg). This spit kit is universal for most gas, charcoal, and custom grills, and it’s typically ideal with Royal Gourmet 4/5/6-burner gas grills.
Dual Uses
Plug the charger into the electric socket, the 4-watt motor makes a consistent and even rotation. Or use 2 x D (1.5 V) batteries instead for convenient roasting.
Firm and Balanced Operation
Wave design of insulated handle enhances a firm grip. Counterbalance system is made for customized adjustment of unbalanced loads.
Two Length Options

The rod comes in three sections and doesn’t connect together properly so the rotisserie won’t rotate like it should . Very dissapointed in this . I do however love my grill . I did just pay out 70.00 for a chicken dinner that was destroyed due to poor construction of the rod .

3 hours into cooking it unscrewed its self and everything fell into the gril. The rods was tight before using using a wrench. I am not happy since it also bent and can not use it

I had to use the connecting bolts on the rod to fit my grill. I cooked an 11 lb. beef tenderloin. The rod sagged at both connections. I could only use one screw to attach the brackets on my grill. I could have drilled new holes but I wasn't going to do that on a new grill. Not very universal.

I was so excited to get this product. Opened the box sorted the contents and a part is missing. Ok I contact the company the warehouse will not send me the missing part it would cost 107 dollars which is hilarious since the whole thing was less than 60 dollars. I am sending what you sent me back I am finished with this company. Royal Gourmet is not a company to do business with they should be ashamed. Amazon should dump them. No bueno

The spit rod comes in three sections that screw together. this would be fine except the rotisserie motor turns counter clockwise, so instead of turning the meat over the grill it unscrews the rod connections so the meat falls down. there is no way to reverse the motor direction, which makes this one of the dumbest products it has been my misfortune to purchase.

Very flimsy unit. Does not come with a power supply as the pictures and description lead you to believe. Must use 2 D size batteries which will not last long enough to cook anything.
