I was disappointed when I received the machete and saw that the edge is pretty dull. Buy a sharpener if you are going to buy this machete.

First off it seems like 75 % of the money went into the sheath. It's thick but it's lacking huge detail it's lacking the ability to hold the blade in the sheath. The blade is decent but came horribly crooked and the the first 6 inches of blade was just square stock no pre shaped edge. When trying to Sharpen and re profile the edge I couldn't get it sharp the edge would continue to chip off. I tried many different belts in my Work Sharp
