Very heavy duty well-made knife. Needs a little sharpening but aside from that it'll do the job!

sheath - 3 stars The sheath is a very heavy-duty leather and looks good. However, mine arrived with 2 flaws (see pic) - note that stitching is missing, and the strap will not snap around the handle. These are both indicative of poor-quality control. I have contacted the manufacturer but no response so farmachete - 4 stars (have not used it yet) seems to be excellent quality, especially for the price. It feels good while holding, balance seems good (see pic). edge came with a decent sharpness for use as a machete, handle is attached to tang well, and tang is full length of handle. I may update the rating to after use11/19/24 - company replaced the sheath with one with no issues. They did this without me requesting it. Excellent customer service
