This is a very well made, excellent quality, solid metal, sturdy single step handrail. We installed it in the garden, we have uneven stones as steps and needed support in that area. I have sciatica and can go up a couple of steps. We installed this handrail in the middle of the steps so I can grab it after a couple of steps, stop and continue to go up. This is perfect. It comes with all the screws and accessories to install. You need to drill the four holes in order to install it. The base is wide and solid. The screws are long and thick. Once tightened the handrail doesn't move. That handrail is not moving anywhere from there. Clean design, minimalist, not invasive. Definitely recommend it, and we might buy more for other areas in the garden.

Perfect addition to our front entry, and it was easy to install since I had all of the tools. The handrail came with hardware for installation in wood or masonry (concrete) and both sets of hardware are good quality. The handrail itself is just as it is pictured, and once installed, it is incredibly sturdy, providing peace of mind that anyone who needs a little help up will be safe using it. The finish is smooth and even, and the design is functional and attractive. I didn’t want one of those long u-shaped bars that attach to the wall - it doesn’t invoke the same feeling as this nice simple, small but functional helping hand that adds to the porch without overwhelming it.If I have one wish is that the hardware supplied would have been black to match the baseplate of the handrail. I’ll wind up spray painting the bolts at some point so they disappear into the baseplate. In the pictures (sorry - I didn’t clean up the concrete dust before I took these!) you can see the tools I used to install these: Hammer drill (not a combination drill, although that might work), long masonry bit, cordless ratchet and socket. Since I used the wedge anchors, I also used my shop vac for the first pass to clear the hole of concrete dust (yes, I wore a mask and eye protection). I also used a canned air duster to make a second pass at the drilled hole after my wedge anchors didn’t seat into the holes at first. There is more dust in those holes than you think. I’ve seen some videos where people use a big syringe or even a turkey baster to force air into the hole and clear the dust. Installation took me about 15 minutes total once I had my tools gathered. Ignore the angle grinder in the first picture - I had it out for another project that required it.

The item is sturdy and installation was quick, five minutes on a wooden stair riser.

I recently installed this single post wrought iron handrail on my porch, and I am extremely pleased with the quality and design. It provides a secure and comfortable grip, enhancing safety for my family and guests. The black powder coating looks sleek and complements my outdoor decor perfectly.

Mounting hardware can be troublesome depending on the application. I’ve managed ok sofar. I’ve done 3 of them.
