I was excited thinking I found a more affordable alternative to the Isacord ocean variegated thread based off what I saw in the photo. But I received a very different thread. The color changes are way too far apart in the thread I received. I wanted the one in the photo that clearly has more frequent color changes so u don’t end up with chunky stripes. Expected better from simthread they’re my favorite.

This is not size 40. In fact, it's way finer than size 80 thread. I bought it with the understanding that it would be suitable for crocheting. And, even though I prefer a thinner size 80 to the larger size 40, this is unusable for anything that I would need thread for. They need to make it clear if there is another sizing method, other than what is used for crocheting, as it is expensive and misleading!
