Auriful are my go to brand for cotton thread to use in my sewing machine as well as hand stitching. I use it largely in my Husqvarna machine, and it works beautifully. I very rarely get breakages, and it doesn't leave dust or lint in the lower bobbin. I usually buy this thread to make quilts, and use it for the piecing of the quilt top as well as the quilting together of the 3 layers. I have also used this colour on making a few zippered cases to keep notions in. Its a very versatile thread, and while costly, I do believe that the quality is worth it. Cheaper threads will break on you more regularly, and you end up using more thread, so not a cost saving. I can definitely recommend Auriful

This thread works well for me. The quality is excellent and consistent. I now only buy Aurifil threads, so worth the price.
