This is a really nice fit for my Shure SM7B microphone. It's not 100% snug, but this also is not a flight case, or anywhere near the cost of a flight case. This is perfect for protecting the microphone when you need to do some remote recording but are not going cross country to do so. It's sturdy and what I love is the spare space inside the case. While the product photography shows a spare windscreen, I found that I can fit my Cloudlifter into that space in the case and that for me was the game changer and meant this case is now part of my "Oh I'm gonna get use out of this" stash.

I'm always surprised that, considering how fragile they are, microphones aren't sold with cases - and further, good microphone cases are actually hard to come by! This one is great; it's lightweight itself but provides a lot of protection for sensitive equipment.
