I was using a 1/2 wave antenna for my Shute PSM300 IEM’s but it just want cutting it. So I ordered the antenna that was made for this system and wow what difference. So far I haven’t had drop outs or my interference issues lol I was having with my 1/2 wave antenna.

Pros-- This antenna more than does the job in range extension for larger format shows. If range or coupling several receivers is your goal, this is a worthy solution. Unexpectedly came with a shorter coax cable (about 6') which negated the purchase of a longer shure coax cable so if you only need it to be a short distance from the IEM rig, don't bother buying an extra cable.Cons-- It's a fairly big flat delicate largely plastic thing that you're going to want to keep in a protective case when not in use so if you don't have a case already, you may want to question jumping to this antenna when a much less expensive 1/2 wave might do the job and take up far less space.Often times with Shure, I feel like I'm paying Rolls Royce part prices for what amounts to a Honda Accord performance, still good but in a few cases such as this, questionably worth what they're charging. After experiencing first hand how cagey the Shure customer service team can be on warranty repairs on a different item I had, if I had to do it all over, I would have considered Sennheiser.
