NUX B-5RC works perfectly with active/passive electric guitar and bass, and acoustic-electric guitars with piezo or magnetic pickup.

Mute Function / Auto-Off Function
NUX B-5RC has a useful MUTE function; just short click the transmitter's POWER button when you want to stop playing for a short time.
The system will shut-down itself when there is no signal for 10 minutes to maximum its playing time.
LONG DISTANCE & Cable Tone simulation
NUX B-5RC has a 30 meters / 100 feet line-of-sight wireless streaming distance (environment-dependent), and it delivers the signal between the transmitter and the receiver in less than 5 milliseconds.
There's also an optional Cable Tone simulation to get your tone with the cable capacitive effect without using a cord. It makes your sound as natural as using a high-quality cable.

音質等は申し分ない商品ですが、一つ残念な点はジャックピンと本体が片側しか動かない為、ストラトでは問題ないのですが、LP等ではジャックにさした際、本体の向きが裏側になってしまいます。

Works flawlessly within 25 feet. Beyond 30 feet you start to hear latency. It also creates noise disturbance in my Bass players amp so I cant use it to perform. I kept it because its fun to use at home and when im teaching lessons.

NUX B-5RCを昨日購入したので、その感想。先日、もっと安価なワイヤレスシステムを購入したが特定の条件でノイズが大きく使い物にならなかったので、それは即日返品した。その条件以外ではなかなか良かったので惜しいところだった。今回は今のところ何も問題はない。NUX Mighty Airも持っていて、B-5RCのトランスミッターはMighty Airのトランスミッターと外見はマークが一つ違うだけでそっくりなので間違えないようにしないと。B-5RCのトランスミッターとレシーバーも見た目は同じなのでレシーバーにはシールを貼って暗いところでも分かりやすくした。この製品にはパワーケースというこのシステム専用のケースとモバイルバッテリが一体となったケースが付属している。これでトランスミッターやレシーバーを充電できるので便利だと思う。トランスミッターとレシーバーに電源スイッチがあるのもいい。残念なのはトランスミッター、レシーバー、パワーケースともにUSB microBである。Cなら他と統一できるので、次機種ではType Cにしてほしい。USBケーブルも付属していて、先がmicroB二股になっている。ギター側はマグネットピックアップでパッシブでもアクティブでも問題はなく、ピエゾとアクティブでも問題なく使える。アンプとの接続ではノイズはない。マルチエフェクター ZOOM G1 FOUR と接続していろいろ試してもノイズは出ない。音切れはない。音はケーブル接続と比べると高域低域ともわずかに狭まる感じはするが、そのせいか音がすっきりするとも言える。ただしこれはクリーントーンで比較するためによく聞いた場合であり、歪をかけたりするとわからないので実用上問題はないと思う。自分で弾いたり他のスピーカーからの音に合わせたりでは遅延は感じない。厳密に合わせる場合は気になるのかもしれないが。ケーブルトーンエフェクトというのがあるが、オンだとわずかに高域が落ちておちついた音になるようにも思えるが、オン/オフと大きくは変わらない。簡単な日本語マニュアルは付属しているが、充電中の点灯、パワーケースのランプについての説明はない。困りはしないが、もう少し丁寧なほうがいい。自宅室内でのテストなので伝送距離は確認できていない。スタジオなど他に電波が多そうなところでも試してはいないが、自宅で1日試しただけでは他の電子機器やアンプなどとの干渉は起きていない。ただし環境によってはノイズや音切れ、他との干渉は起きるのかもしれない。充分な検証はできていないが、私はこの機種はとてもいいと思う。

I have the more expensive, higher frequency version of the same NUX tx/rx pair (I also left a 5-star review for it). These sound as good or better to my ears - fantastic buy! If I need another set, I will buy these again.

ケースも結構おしゃれな感じで、収納してボタンを押すと充電が始まります。いちいち個別に充電器刺さなくてもいいので楽です。（ケース自体の充電は必要）レイテンシーもほとんど無いに等しいくらい感じません。ケーブルシュミレートモードもついており、常時そちらで使用しております。以前某有名ブランドのものも使用しておりましたが、こちらの商品と遜色無い上、L字に曲がらないタイプのものでしたので、こちらを愛用させて頂いております。
