I received the roller stand today. I immediately rushed to put it together. While installing one of the 3 legs (4 bolts per leg) , I stripped the first 2 bolts. I was using a metric wrench to tighten the bolts. I was only trying to tighten the bolt when they stripped. The quality of the steel for the bolts must be very poor for it to strip so easily. It took me 20 minutes to install the 3 legs which each had 4 bolt. It was extremely hard to get the bolts into the boltholes. I had to put the bolts inside the main tube as it would have been very hard to get the nuts on the bolts if I had tried put them on in the tube. The center tube is extremely wobbly even when tightened.I would rate this product as being of poor quality. I could not in all conscience, recommend this product to others. I have other roller stands which were cheaper but nearly the same level of quality. I am disappointed with the product but I will give a chance

love it, Only one bad thing...just have to be careful not to tighten plastic nob too much or it may strip threads

This stand is decent for the money. Using it with heavy items - long wooden beams, for instance - means that it is likely that the pinch bolt holding the height adjustment will be stripped from the handle that tightens the pinch bolt. That means drilling a hole, inserting a screw, and going back to work after making this repair. I've had to make this repair to each of these stands.

I don't know about the rest of you but as I perused Amazon's offerings in stand rollers I was drawn back to the Shop Fox for one primary reason; IT WAS CHEAP.I'll break the streak of single-star reviews and say that it's what I expected, all the parts were in the package, and it works.

got a few of these thinking they would be stable stands, handle part that screws in strips quickly, tried to redrill/tap new holes and just use a bolt, but the metal is so soft that it will restrip before its tight enough to hold roller up. complete junk, should've spent the extra for better quality. dont make the same mistake.

I originally purchased these to act as infeed and outfeed rollers for resawing long stock on my bandsaw. My table height is 1/2" lower than the stated max height of the roller stands - unfortunately they make it an inch short of the maximum height. But honestly it doesn't matter that they don't even reach their stated height because when you fully extend them there's no post left in the base tube and they tilt over an inch or two and crack the top plastic collar. After a few uses as joiner outfeed rollers for long stock the plastic handle spun on the steel locking screw and I'll now have to bust the nice looking handle off the screw and back it out with a vise grip.It is however an effective stand to lean my push broom against, but so is my wall.Assembly was a pain, as you need to coax the second row of screws into a 2" tube -- honestly the grizzly mobile bases are maybe more difficult to assemble, but you don't feel like you've wasted a half hour when you get done with the process.

I bought two of these hoping they'd be decent for weekend projects. Unfortunately they're garbage. The roller bearings were seized up on both units out of the box. When they did roll its because the axle rod spinned in the mount and it was very "herky-jerky". Also, they don't roll level, they wobble up and down.Very poor quality all around. I'm sending them back.
