Works well to prevent my road cleats from wearing down when walking on concrete/etc but they loosen over time and invariably I end up losing one as I walk and have to buy a new pair. A little expensive for what they are too.

A good set of cleat covers can easily more than double the life of your Shimano SPD-SL cleats, particularly if you're using them on the road and not just on a trainer. These Shimano cleats covers work very well and I've had no problems with their durability or functionality. However, due to shortages, it's now almost impossible to find them for under twenty dollars, which is ridiculously pricey for what they are. I've switched to one of the knock-off brands because of this. They work just as well at less than half the current price.

I was surprised to find out these were shipping to Canada from France. Customer service was very helpful when I contacted them concerned about any potential duties. None were incurred and they arrived earlier than they had indicated. They also fit perfectly with the cleats. Pushing my bike up the stairs from the basement with these on is now much easier, protecting my cleats to help them last longer.

Quizá un pelín caro, pero mis dieces. Fáciles de usar, cómodas y cumplen su objetivo de 10. Se acabó destrozar las calas caminando por grava o cemento. Ahora puedo incluso hacer la compra en bici al no preocuparme el desgaste de las calas. Encima aportan seguridad, sin anti deslizantes.

The clip covers lasted about 8 - 10 steps. They don't stay on. I threw them away.... there was no way to have them stay on.

there is no doubt these will prolong the life of your cleats and they fit well and are easy to put on and take off, I put them on for even very short distances. Authentic cleats cost $ $ $ how much and you have to fasten them to your riding shoes , I would not be without them when I go to the Bike shop and want to walk to the bodega, or when I lock my bike at the fitness center, no problem , you get the idea I think they are well worth the price.

Any cyclist using cleats will be familiar with the routine of walking with your toes pointing skyward whilst at the same time listening to the unmistakeable sound of your expensive cleats being worn away to nothing as you skate and hobble along. These cleat covers are a perfect fit for Shimano SPD-SL cleats - as expected - which prolong the life of the cleats and also make them easier to walk on. An added bonus is that they also prevent the abrasive mud and stones that seem to be attracted to cleats from being transferred to your shiny new pedalsThey stay firmly in place whilst walking as the cleats are effectively 'clipped-in' when they are fitted; they provide a stable surface for walking and are easy to put on and remove. They are produced in what appears to be a relatively durable flexible plastic and they can be easily kept in a pocket or seat bag whilst riding. They are not cheap, although they more than pay for themselves by eliminating cleat wear during walking. Highly recommended for SPD-SL users.
