This is a nice looking stereo and the sound quality is fine, but the CD player is broken, it skips constantly, not just within a track but also skipping to other tracks. Even brand-new, never-played-before CDs skip in teh player. This stereo was our big Christmas present and we didn't open it until Christmas day, and now the seller says they won't replace it because we are outside the return window. I'd love to improve my rating, but the experience with the seller has been terrible, and Amazon says it won't do anything about it.

I am so pleased with this Sharp XL-B512 cd/radio player. The sound in amazing (wood speakers) and it's easy to operate. I've had several cd/radios that were very difficult to operate, like you needed a degree in technology to figure them out. Setting up this player was easy and I was able to get everything operating, remotely and manually, without any outside assistance. Considering I'm 89, I was quite pleased that I could do that and rewarded with hearing my favorite music the way I should be heard!

The sound quality is tremendous. The remote control is a convenient addition. Bluetooth works great. Cd player tray is a little flimsy so be careful when adding and removing cd. Definitely recommend, the sound and features are tremendous. Love the wood design!

First of all, it made my CDs skip, even though I cleaned them a number of times to make sure. Secondly, the sound quality was so tin-y, though you could adjust bass and treble it was as though I had a tin ear, never got it to sound rich & full enough for me so returned it no problems
