Will not play some of my CDs all the way till the end. Plays half of the tracks and changes the CD.

I bought this product to play old CDs. I needed service and the seller was FANTASTIC, Spoke with me to give instructions, then fixed it and sent it back to me in perfect condition. I highly recommend his refurbished products.

When playing the disk it will stop and then start again. The disk was not damaged. We played in on the other Boise Radio and it was ok.

There wasn't a manual with this bose I thought I was purchasing a new one the cd keeps playing and does not turn off when cd is done would like to return

The system does not work entirely as it should. I was disappointed, but sending it back to be exchanged or repaired seems like a long drawn out procedure, and I am too old and busy. Sorry, but it does not meet my expectations. Not to mention that I had to go to the Library to accomplish the purchase.M. Pavur

I have an elderly friend who has a Bose Wave Radio (probably close to 20 years old). She wanted a new one to replace it. She doesn't have the internet so I helped her check for Bose stuff online. Only Bose products available were speakers and peripherals (including the Bose website)--except for Amazon. Even called Best Buy Regional Customer Service and they said they haven't carried the Bose Wave for about a decade. Amazon carried several Bose Wave units--some paired with CD systems. They are apparently all reconditioned and sold through third-party suppliers. Despite the price of nearly $1500 (plus tax), she still wanted one. So, I ordered for her on 11/10/23 (on my account). While waiting for the order, I was able to track down the owners' manual for the system. [Luckily, because there was none included when I got the package.] The owners' manual specifically said an UPGRADE CD was required to pair the Bose Wave with the CD system. I received the system on 11/17/23--in a plain cardboard box minimally padded. Guess what? No Upgrade CD. I contacted Amazon on 11/18/23 and advised them of the missing Upgrade CD. They notified the supplier/seller (Port Hole Renewed) the same day. On 11/19/23, I got a message from Port Hole saying they'd sent the CD to me ASAP. I got the Upgrade CD on 11/22/23. We assembled the system on 11/23/23 (Thanksgiving) and tried it out after inserting the Upgrade CD and letting it process. The radio itself wasn't impressive--had trouble picking up local stations. We tried the CD player in the main (radio) unit and it seemed to work okay. However, we couldn't get the top slot in the CD unit to accept a disc (felt like something was blocking it from the inside. We inserted a CD into the middle slot of the CD unit and it wouldn't read the CD--even though it said it was reading it. On top of that, it wouldn't eject the CD we'd inserted--despite several attempts. Luckily, our CD was ejected when we pulled the plug. I notified Amazon of the problem(s) on 11/24/23 (via their website) and they accepted my return request the same day. I packed up the whole mess (using better padding than they originally used to send it to me) and took it to UPS same day. to ship to Port Hole Renewed. Got my refund on 11/27/23. This entire experience was a giant pain in the butt! Certainly not worth the time, money, or hassle. If there was a lower rating, I would use it.
