So I think this is good quality hardware kit, but I think you're going to need two or three of these kits to install a sun sail shade. Typically you would need a turnbuckle for each corner... even if you were mounting this almost touching a pole you would need a carabiner for each corner. But again, I do feel like it is good quality hardware.
