HOW DOES A SECONDARY PUMP WORK?
- When the engine is working, the air pump is driven by the crankshaft drive belt, and the airflow with a large amount of pumping and low pressure enters the diverter valve through the hose.
- Under normal circumstances, the valve on the diverter valve is open, and the air flows through the diverter valve and the one-way valve into the air injection manifold.

Bought this pump to replace the failed factory one in my tundra, worked great initially but lasted about a year. Wouldn’t buy again, spend a little more for a more quality pump.

Pump works great on toyota tundra 5.7 2008 , the only thing that i didnt give it 5 stars its because the plug cord its too short and the cable stay very tight
