Still makes a loud noise as it used to. I only bought this to fix the loud noise but I believe these parts are not up to oem. They are loud and annoying.

I was advised today by my mechanic that the Dorman 306-018 Secondary Air Injection Pump I purchased and installed a few weeks ago is faulty and needs to be replaced. If I had purchased the pump at an auto parts store, I could have returned it under warranty.

It fits, but only after 2-3 weeks the pump strated to make sounds. And I know, it's the 3rd time I change this pump (common problem on Mercedes) and when it starts making some noise, the next step is: not working at all...

The price was a fraction of other local automotive stores in my area, and Dorman is a top brand. I have a 2010 Mercedes C300 and I was getting the code for this part, I don't remember what the exact code number was. I watch a YouTube video, and the new part install was straight forward. The part is located on the front of the engine right under the plastic cover, I'm guessing it took 30 mins or so. Good luck!
