It's really strong and folds up easy and fits securely in its case which can be mounted to the frame on the water bottle lug bolts or it comes with plastic mounting straps. It came with 3 keys. My wife likes it because its easy to use and store on her bike. I would recommend this to others and buy it again.

Works great, color is a good match to my lectric XP and lite, quick access and quiet. I pair with a chain lock if I need added security, but good enough locking at grocery store, coffee shops, etc. same size but much better quality than lectric branded folding lock.

I have used a U-lock for my bikes for years, but always hated the way they rattled incessantly while riding. I often ended up hauling it in my backpack just to escape the noise. I also found that my U-lock was occasionally difficult locking my bike up to some bike racks. This FoldyLock is hands-down the best purchase I have made for my bike. Not only is it easy to use, and secure, but it does not rattle AT ALL while riding. The mount is solid, easy to install and holds the lock securely and quietly. The lock is also very high quality and you can feel the care and excellent engineering that went into this design. I highly recommend this lock over all others.

This is great for e-bikes. It’s small, compact and easy to lock n unlock in a matter of a few minutes. No one is cutting this lock it is very durable like a big chain lock. Except it’s the fraction of the weight.

It was a bit larger than expected, so I was worried about the weight on my new bike. I don't notice it at all.This is the best bike lock I've seen and used. Couldn't t be happier, the colors are fantastic, it mounts securely in its cage, which mounts on the bottle cage bosses with the supplied hardware. AND supplied Allen wrench. We all have a bunch of them, but this one's the perfect size so glad to see it was included.I didn't try the other mounting system.It's easy to use, fun to use honestly the way it folds out.Feels rock solid, no question about it's security.10/10Great value too

What an amazing and innovative bike ‘folding’ lock. If you’re seeking a cleaner, less obnoxious look, than the ‘standard’ U-bolt bike lock, this is it. Plus it offers superior anti-theft deterrence features.Yes, it costs more at $80 (on sale); but if you regard your bike as an investment or an essential equipment, then the FoldyLock (aka SeatyLock) will offer greater protection, along with greater piece of mind.- Mounting Issue: One concern that I had was where to mount it on my bike frame. I preferred the 'stem’, so I immediately mounted the lock holster to the mounting screws on my bike.But then I tried to slide in the FoldingLock into the holster. Ugh! It wouldn’t fit! 'When 'fully-folded', the length of the stem (i.e from the top bar to the crankcase) was too short (14.5”in; 36 cm).I groaned with frustration b/c I didn’t want to install it on the lower bar, where I mounted my water bottle. Then I discovered a technique (hack) to make it work, which I describe in the photos, below. So if your bike stem is a short (35-38 cm), perhaps try this method:Steps:1, Place the folding lock over the opening of the holster2. Push out the longer ‘outer’ bars (black) away from the holster and push the inner ‘’orange’ bars over the holster3. Partially slide down the inner ‘orange’ bars into the holster about 1/4” to 1/2”.4. Slide the outer ‘black’ bar so that it realigns straight with the orange bars.5. Slide down the FoldingLock into its holsterThat’s it! All I needed was an extra 1/2” of space, but this method offers that space.Luv the final look and finish!

Great lock.Handy attachment for fitting to frame. Much prefer this to my D lock. The cage holder takes up less room than a water bottle between the frame (see pic). It felt big when in the packet but it’s small on the bike (see pic).It’s dear but you can feel the quality. I can’t see anyone breaking into it without a lot of effort.Easy to use and enough diameter to fit round a steel bar, railing, etc.Also chained it to a railing and trolley stand, no probs. It obviously doesn’t have the length of a cable but it certainly is stronger.It is heavy, but once on the frame I haven’t noticed extra weight. The weight helps reinforce the feeling of strength. Tbf not much, weight wise, between it and my D lock. I much prefer the foldylock.Bright orange shows would be thief the bike is locked so hopefully that will deter most from poking around at the bike.3 keys with 2 year warranty and key codes for replacing them. The key blades are proper car type keys. But small for cycling with.Defo recommend it.If anyone try’s to steal the bike, I’ll add the outcome to the review.Update - no one has attempted to steal it but a friend who works in security spied it and they couldn’t recommend this brand highly enough.

Bought this lock for just locking up the bike around town. I really like that it mounts to the frame and is always with me. The Velcro straps that wrap around the frame are coated with a sticky rubber to prevent it from slipping. It does slip a little when going over bumps, but it’s still pretty secure. It’s relatively light compared to my giant klunky ABUS U-lock, so I don’t mind the extra weight permanently mounted to my bike. I would NOT trust this lock if I were to leave my bike outside overnight (I keep my bike inside). The metal plates inside the black plastic are pretty thin looking, and I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to cut through. However, that’s not what I bought it for. I bought it so I could bike around town and lock it outside for an hour while I go into the store or get a beer at the brewery. It’s perfect for this. I trust it for a few hours a day in a low to medium risk situation. Very high quality construction. The keys are high quality and the locking action is smooth and crisp. I keep one on my keychain at all times, so I always have my lock and key with me whenever I’m on my bike. It’s long enough that I can lock two bikes to a pole, but you won’t be able to fit the lock around both the frame and tire if you do this. Otherwise, it’s longer and much easier to fit around a tire, frame, and pole than a traditional U-lock. If you lock your helmet to your bike, be aware that the end is a little too big to fit through the vent holes in my helmet, so I just put it through the strap instead. Really brilliant design. Had this for about a year now, no issues. I just bought another for my girlfriend.

The Foldy compact is a good, solid bike lock and is easy to use. It comes with 3 keys and a code that you can register and you will be able to get keys copied in the future, if needed.I'd read comments, before purchasing, about the weight of the lock. I was surprised to find that the lock wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be and, to be honest, it's negligible if you're going to attach it to your bike frame. However, if you are going to be putting the lock in your bag, then I don't think it is any heavier than other locks, in fact, I think D locks are heavier.Ease of use: Once you have got used to the lock being akin to one of those plastic toy snakes that wiggled when you held it out, you can easily thread the lock through the back wheel around the post you are securing your bike to and lock it. I also use a steal cable that I thread through my front wheel to secure and have no problems.I did find that I had to lean my bike as close to the post as possible (not use my stand as I usually do), but it's no biggie I'd rather have a secure bike. When unlocking, just be careful when pulling the Foldy back through the wheel. I have found that on some occasions the lock has made contact with the chain and I have ended up with oil on my hands. However, that is not the fault of the lock, as such, but operator error! The Foldy easily folds back to its compact state and slots nicely and securely in its holder. The holder can be attached in various places on your bike frame with either the velcro straps or where the drinks holder usually goes. The bolts and straps both come with the lock.The keys and the locking mechanism are solid, operate smoothly and I am reassured that my bike is safe when locked up (of course this also does depend on the surrounding area).I would thoroughly recommend this Secure Silver Foldy compact lock.
