The WetCel general-purpose sink tip is a simple, no-frills, weight-forward fly line perfect for throwing nymphs and streamers to trout, bass, or panfish in streams, rivers, or lakes. It's reasonably priced, but that certainly doesn’t mean the WetCel won’t get the job done.

It's great choice for smaller streamers and nymphs. Sink rate is about 2 i.p.s.. Does not come with welded loops but the cost off sets that minor inconvenience. Brown in color with 40ft head. WF7 is 185 grain which I didn't see in the description. Will positively work for the purpose I bought it for! Only 4 stars because I haven't tried it yet!

I was looking for a sinking line for stripping streamers for Bass. I bought the Type II version, thinking it would still be good for moving water (not get so beat up on the bottom) but wish I had gotten a faster sinking version. I still have to use split shot with this line, even with weighted flies such a Clausers, which is what I was hoping to avoid with a sinking line. The type two just kind of hovers, like a heavy intermediate vs full sink. If you are looking to replace weight with a weighted line, you need something heavier. Wish I'd gone with a Type 4 or even 6. At the price point it should come as no surprise that this a basic line. No fancy tapers, just head and running line and no welded loops.

The line looks to be ok. Haven’t had it on the water yet.The three stars reflects the suspect condition of what I received. The box was in poor condition, there was no tag on the line, the sticker on the spool identifying the line was missing, and only one twist tie was present. Makes me wonder if I am the second owner. I paid for new, that’s what I expect.

The line was listed as a sink tip but the item delivered was a full sink. I actually prefer a full sink fly line to a sink tip so I wasn't disappointed but can't give the product five stars because it wasn't as advertised.
