This is exactly what we were looking for to cover the sandbox. It protects it from heavy rain. Only issue is that it pools so we have to put something under it when it rains.

This cover is nothing like the description. It leaks... I've bought and returned two of them thinking I had a bad one... nope, they all leak. In addition, there are no vents, so overnight humidity/dew accumulates under the cover and then drips as water into the sandbox. With this cover, your kids sandbox will get wet and never dry out. Avoid this product.

Item is just as described. We have had two really big rains since using it and the sand stayed dry! The ability to tighten around the corners is really helpful. Only downfall is that the rain collects in the middle or any low spots. But that will obviously happen on any soft cover.
