Light duty. Only good for a smaller lightweight kayak and or bicycle. Rated for 150lbs. Hardware is inadequate. Glue holding on padding is inadequate.

First of all, the height is too much to carry bikes as described. We carried two kayaks, as it was supposedly rated, on a weekend camping trip and the gauge of the metal is so weak that it bent at the horizontal and vertical supports during the drive. The kayaks we were carrying are substantially less heavy than the lake/sea kayaks shown in the sellers photos. Very disappointed in this product and it has been sent back. I expect a full refund or I will not be making any future purchases with Amazon.

Glue for pads melt in the sun on a 78 degree day, no lock washer or nylon nuts. This thing scares me, I feel like I'll have to stop every 100 miles to make sure nothing is rattling loose or the laser weld cracks. I'll give another review later. They might be buying me a kayak if it falls apart going down the highway.
