When the description says "no lock" it means no key lock. This does have an interior privacy lock that can be unlocked from the outside by turning the latch button.

This latch was a perfect match to my 1988 camper. This one is designed for a thicker door than I had. But it was easy to snip off the plastic piece that moves through the door and releases the latch. Pretty simple to do. Make sure to measure twice and cut once! I used a side cutter to cut the plastic rod. Or use your existing rod from your old latch. It worked perfectly for me, but I am mechanically inclined. If you cut the plastic rod the wrong length, your door wouldn't open. 4/5 stars

I bought this latch as back-up for my 98 Fleetwood Bounder. It’s a exactly same latch WITH LOCKING mechanism. The original one is still working good!

Was a perfect fit and matched the existing shower trim. Overall great transaction and item was better than expected. It is solid material and not cheap flimsy plastic like other sites advertise.
