Straight forward install, well made. Tested by bench wiring and placing about 10 feet from the exhaust. Worked fine. We have one installed in our Sprinter Van for the diesel heater.

There are two things I don't like.1. The green LED and display is so bright that I cannot sleep in my boat with it. I had to carefully put multiple layers of electrical tape on it (very carefully avoiding any air vents!) to dim the thing enough to not light up the entire cabin. Of course I can no longer read the display but I can still see the green light and hear the loud siren. So I'll accept that. (I don't really care about the display, if it screams I don't care what the levels are, I just want to get out to safe air.)2. The boat is only 26 feet long, hence the cabin is slightly "tight" for moving around. It is VERY easy to gently bump this with your leg and the thing just pops off the wall and dangles by the wires. There is a mounting plate and the main unit slips into the mounting plate with a quiet "click." But it isn't very positive of a hold. The slightest bump and it slides right off and hangs by the wires.Positive points:1. I assume it works and is protecting me from CO and LP gases. The test button makes it scream anyway.2. It is very compact and doesn't take up much space.

Easy to install, pass all the test I gave.Fast alarm on LOG and CO test a bit slow as I had to make CO to get it to alarm but it alarmed.Turn on a stove burner and waited outside to test it. Passed and very pleased with it. I have a major hearing lost and was able to hear it but the wife it is very loud.

I ordered this for my campervan to monitor the presence of Propane and Carbon Monoxide in the interior. It is 12V and meant to be hardwired. If you don't have a 12V setup in your RV, I would look for a battery powered unit. I haven't installed it yet as I am still building out the van, but I tested it by expelling a small amount of propane from a 1lb. bottle. Within seconds, the readout indicated the presence of propane and when it reached a dangerous level, the alarm sounded. Although not extremely loud, the alarm would be loud enough to wake me from sleep. The unit is small enough tomount in various places. I would recommend mounting it lower to the floor as propane is heavier than air. The only thing negative is that you have to have a constant 12 volt output for the detector to work. I wish there was a battery backup like my home hardwired detectors.

The product is small and easy to install and works as intended. Just wish they would standardize the screw holes so they are all the same.

Old unit in camper kept triggering for no reason even though the EOL was still over a year away. This fit perfectly in the existing region. Two quick crimps and works great. LEDs give quick indication of status and LCD display is great (the previous unit only a idiot lights so you did not really know how bad or good things were). Been in for a whole season with no issues at all. So far so good. Will update if any issues in the future.

I was unaware this sensor required replacement every 5 years. Silly me.After looking up what it was (I really had no idea) I found the exact same product on Amazon.Replacement was simple with red-to-red wire and black-to-black wire connections. The hardest part of replacing it was getting started.

Replaced a failed CO/Propane detector in my camper. Installation took about a minute and it seems to be working based on light indicators and the test function.
