Unfortunately, these did not fit well for my pup. He has longer, curly fur and they did not fit his paws well. He was able to flip them off his paws quite easily while walking and running. When not moving, he was able to pull them off with his mouth. They are lightweight, which I liked, and the soles seem durable. I also liked the Velcro, for pups that don't have my pup's type of fur. They are priced reasonably. I wish they would have worked better for us, but we returned them.

These have a lower profile than other dog boots. My dog prefers these to taller ones. They work well in the heat. She just has to get used to them! They were expensive but were the only ones to not come up so high on her legs, which she prefers. I bought another pair and returned them because they did not fit well. These fit nicely.

Our 16 year old dog’s hind legs have become very weak, to the point where she needs wheels when we go for walks. But she can still walk in the house and backyard without wheels. So our rehabilitation veterinarian wants our dog to still use her hind legs with the wheels to continue to help strengthen them. So our vet suggested we get grippy booties. We’ve had Ruffwear harnesses in the past, so we know Ruffwear makes good products. These booties are no different. These will definitely stand up to any terrain conditions. It’s easy to slide them on your dog’s paws. They also stay on her paws, though you do have to ensure you tighten the Velcro. If the Velcro is not wrapped tightly, the booties will slide off pretty easily. The one thing about these tough all terrain booties is that the sizable rubberized bottom makes them a bit stiff. So it may take your dog a little while to get used to walking/running in them.

I have a working dog and live in the desert. These fit him perfectly and his paws don’t over heat when we’re running errands.

They might DESIGN or whatever else in the USA, but MANUFACTURE these shoes in CHINA.. ie LOW COSTS. BUT they still charge 35 freakin dollars FOR TWO SHOES! WHAT DOG NEEDS 2 SHOES! They charge this astronomically high price WHILE THEYRE MADE IN CHINA! They charge for 2 shoes so its more palatable? Theyll be the first with a "valid" excuse as to why they do that as well. IMAGINE they said "YOU CAN HAVE SHOES MADE IN CHINA ALL FOR THE PRICE OF 70 DOLLARS! Talk about NO SALE!

These boots are perfect for my old friend who has suffered from a meniscus tear that can not, due to complications, be repaired. His back foot now drags on the toenails when we take our walks and they are wearing down faster than they can regrow. These boots work great at keeping him from going through the quick. I'm happy that I could find a set of two in the right size for his feet. Easy to put on, secure during use, light weight but tough. Great product.

This is only a pack of 2 booties. I didn't read the fine print until they arrived and I thought I was missing 2 boots. In any case, they are great quality. Ruffwear is a solid brand for any dog gear.

I have a senior dog who is getting a bit weaker and drags his back paws. His nails were starting to bleed and his pads were cracking. These shoes saved his pads and nails. I could tell he liked them the first walk and was feeling less pain from the scraping. These pics show everyday use, 1.5 mile walks, a lot of rough wear. Unfortunately, they only lasted 3 months but I messaged the company and they were helpful in recommending the vibram soled ones next.I've always bought and been so happy with ruff wear clothing and the winter boots for my guy, but these have shown to be well worth the money for everyday use.

My dog has a pretty standard shaped foot, but these don't fit great. They are straight without an angle or shape so when the dog stands or walks the front is all wrinkled and the back gapes (tightening the strap doesn't help). They don't stay on great. Some walks they'll stay on the whole time and other times no amount of adjusting helps they just constantly fall off. If the dog is pulling at all they'll fall off eventually. You have to constantly watch for them flying off and £45 worth of dog boots getting left behind. I dont think the fit is better than the cheap ones, but the materials and construction (not design) are good and obviously superior. They are very expensive and not sure they are worth it in my opinion.

My dog has been wearing Ruffwear shoes for about five years. I've purchased a few varieties for him (mesh for hot weather, some fabric ones for regular daily use). Unfortunately his daily use shoes seem to have been discontinued, since they're perpetually our of stock. We're trying out this newer model as a daily shoe, and it has pros and cons. One pro is the way the sole is molded; it comes up higher around the foot, which makes for a more durable build. We had some sole separation issues on his last pair of daily use shoes, so I'm pleased with this change. A con, however, is that they don't seem to be very water resistant; few dog shoes are unless they're heavily rubberized, so I wasn't surprised by this. My dog has dewclaws on his front legs, but we've been lucky enough with Ruffwear that every model he's worn has sat below the dewclaw. For added comfort and to help keep the shoes on, he wears socks (nothing fancy; literally cotton socks marketed for newborn babies). For best results if you're trying to train your dog to wear shoes, start by measuring them and following the sizing chart. They may need two different sizes for their front and back feet, which is why quality dog shoes are generally sold in pairs instead of sets of four. Consider whether your dog has a dewclaw and where the shoe will sit (every dog is different!) Try socks if the shoes seem to be working well but fall off often. Last but not least, praise and reward your dog for accepting the shoes for however long they manage to keep them on. One day, your best bud might be like my little guy, who loves his shoes because they make him feel like he has heat-proof, grippy, super-powered toes.
