I bought this to replace an antenna where the threaded metal base had cracked and broken for a 12V automobile radio connected up at my cottage. When I connected the Magnadyne antenna cable and antenna to the radio, I couldn't get *any* FM stations. It was just weird. Even the broken antenna got a *few* stations. So I put aside the Magnadyne and soldered 1m wire from some lamp cord to the old antenna cable and now I get lots of FM stations. This unit did not work for me at all.

Ordered to replace the original antenna on our LQ horse trailer. Shipping was next day and Fitment was perfect. Radio seems to get the same reception as before, happy with the purchase thus far.

Used to replace the am/fm antenna on my camper after replacing the roof. Good mounting base to screw it down to the roof. Works great with the radio in my camper.

Used on roof of RV if it hits anything it will break.Not flexible at all .Going to lay flat less chance of hitting anything.
