Blah. Not impressed with it. Tried using it on a bobcat miner. Swapped it to a different antenna two days ago. You can see how bad it was.

I ordered this to use with a meshtastic node at 907MHz. This is a monopole and should be attached to some sort of ground plane, I placed it on a cookie sheet. The antenna had SWR The ipx-SMA feeders are a nice touch and will get used somewhere. The magnet on the base weak so I definitely wouldn't use it on a moving vehicle without a better arrangement. Also, the 6.5 feet of cable are permanently mounted to the base, so you can't shorten it unless you're skilled at soldering very thin coax.The fact that you get 2 is a bonus.It's risky to order a precision RF component from a generic retailer, but I'm satisfied that this is a high gain antenna that was reasonably well matched out of the box. One star off for the weak magnetic base.

One antenna was good. One the magnet and bottom cover stayed on my car. But it does work good with the heltec v3 I am using with it in the car. Would have been nice had I gotten to use the other one for a second vehicle.

While the magnet is not strong enough for speeds over 50mph I had good luck with it. SWR was 2.5 at 915mhz when it was installed on my vehicle. It will be coming down on the highway but for around town it works great. With this antenna I have added 3 nodes to my list in the last minute and I can easily hit nodes 100+ miles out. Will update as soon as find the limit to its range.

Not enough magnetic strength for any kind of vehicle movement. Worthless.

Magnet failed at 45 mph. Works well on a stationary object (unless you have 45 mph wind). Antenna not bad. Double the distance of the stock dipole that comes with the T-Beam Supreme lora radio.
