The spacers are made of a plastic material and came warped out of the box.

A few things are unsatisfactory about this product.1. The actually product is not what is depicted in the instructions. The kit that arrived is made out of plastic, as what’s in the instructions and what’s advertised is aluminum.2. The instructions are not super accurate, see the picture attached. The ranger has a guide rod on top of the strut, and the kit doesn’t have a hole for the rod to penetrate. You have to remove the rod, which isn’t detailed in the instructions.3. When torquing the nuts on the kit to 32 foot/pounds (as instructed) the plastic spacer broke. See pictureRough country really failed with this product and they owe me a Saturday afternoon.

The look these give is awesome, but beware it totally messes up the gas mileage (about 20% decrease)

I purchased this 2 1/2 in leveling kit for my 2020 Ford Ranger XL STX and it looks and drives awesome. One note for you “do it yourself” folks out there. Don’t be fooled by the Stage III YouTube video showing it to be so easy to install. You will have to knock out the bottom two bolts on the strut as shown in the directions. Also, Its absolutely impossible to not pull out the upper shaft on your CV shaft (both sides) even though the instructions say to be careful not too. With some finessing and a good Buddy, you should be able to align and push them back in after you reinstall the strut with new spacer per instructions. I got them both back in by applying pressure under the shaft with a crowbar to get the right angle and then my Buddy pushed in on the arm until they finally click back in. If you over force them, you can accidentally cause damage to your CV components so don’t get frustrated. Just stay at it and you will get it.

It was a pretty easy install, then drove the truck for about 20 miles prior to the suspension alignment getting done. Thanks on the tip of using a file to clean the paint out of the holes for the studs. Also, pull the covers off of those crash bars to loosen, and move them forward for clearing your future upgrade tires ( my pics are with stock 18" tires). Last, aim your headlights back down, it's easy to do. Look online for guidance of doing it.
